SANTA CLARA, Calif., Aug. 31 Residency Program Open House -- In September, medical students begin searching for residency training programs. In today's economy, especially with college loans entering repayment, medical students have fewer dollars available to visit multiple residency programs. Kaiser Permanente, a leader in graduate medical education and technology, is responding to this need by hosting both an in-person and virtual Residency Program Open House. On September 12, 2009, medical students nationwide have the opportunity to meet program directors and learn from current residents what it is like to train in Kaiser Permanente's world class health care delivery system. Students are also encouraged to submit questions for the "Ask a Resident" session. For in-person or virtual attendance, register at http://residency.kp.org/ncal/
