The PCRF highlighted a recent success story where Karim, 2 years of age, from Gaza lost sight in his right eye following an accident when he was just a year old.
With the help of Palestine Children's Relief fund (PCRF) and Dr. Qasim Aref Qasem, sub-specialist pediatric ophthalmic surgeon at Imperial Healthcare Institute's branch in Dubai healthcare city, baby Karim is now finally starting to see again. He is on his way to a miraculous recovery after undergoing this life-changing surgery.
