Loughrey has been vice chairman of the board of directors for Cummins Inc.(NYSE:CMI) since Aug. 1, 2008, after serving at Cummins in a variety of rolesfor 35 years, most recently as the company's president and chief operatingofficer. Cummins is the world's largest diesel engine manufacturer, with salesof $14.3 billion in 2008.
Active in the business community, Loughrey serves on a number of boards,including as chairman for Conexus Indiana and as a member of the boards ofSauer-Danfoss, the Cummins Foundation, the National Association ofManufacturers, The Manufacturing Institute and the Columbus CommunityEducation Coalition.
