EFFINGHAM, Ill., Aug. 17 Heartland Dental Care, Inc. brought its total number of practices to 263 with the acquisition of nine established practices and the creation of three new dental care facilities during second quarter 2010.

The acquisitions include practices in Las Vegas, Nev., Lake Havasu City, Ariz., Mesa, Ariz., Queen Creek, Ariz., Orlando, Fla., Newport News, Va., Norfolk, Va., and Virginia Beach, Va. The new dental care facilities are located in Jacksonville, Fla., Lakeland, Fla. and Ormond Beach, Fla.
