HeartCentrix Informatics Solution from Cardiac Science Now Certified with Allscripts Electronic Health Records

BOTHELL, Wash., June 11 Cardiac Science(Nasdaq: CSCX), a global leader in advanced cardiac diagnosis, resuscitation,rehabilitation, and informatics products, announced today that it completedcertification for its HeartCentrix(R) ECG informatics software with theAllscripts Electronic Health Record (EHR).

The connectivity between Cardiac Science's equipment and the AllscriptsEHR will help physicians streamline the diagnostic cardiology workflow intheir offices, eliminate a source of data transcription errors, and provide aunified view of patient diagnostic data. With HeartCentrix ECG informatics,physicians will have immediate access to view or edit a patient's test resultselectronically and later retrieve the data from the Electronic Health Record.

Cardiac Science connects to Allscripts via the company's UniversalApplication Integrator (UAI), an innovative application that enables certifieddevice vendors to quickly and easily connect to Allscripts Electronic HealthRecords.
