WASHINGTON, Dec. 15 Patient advocate Betsy McCaughey, Ph.D., will be cautioning the Republican Women Members of Congress that, "it doesn't matter whether there's a public option. The current Senate and House bills - without a public option - give government authority over how your doctor treats you. The bills also fund a new social agenda by shifting billions of dollars from Medicare to handouts for inner city groups, newly arriving immigrants, and local politicians."
