BRENTWOOD, Tenn., Sept. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- HealthTechS3's Director of Care Coordination & Lean Consulting, Faith Jones, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, has been appointed vice president of the Board of Directors for the American Nurses Association (ANA) effective January 1, 2019. Faith currently serves on the ANA board as director-at-large until December 31, 2018 and will then serve as vice president for one year, with her term ending December 31, 2019.
The ANA Board consists of four officers and five directors-at-large. Their purposes are to work for the improvements of health standards, availability of care, advocate for workplace standards, and promote professional development of nurses. At a national level they are also responsible for initiating and influencing legislation, governmental programs, and health policy.
