The Quick Quit Kit uses all the reasons people smoke to help them quit nicotine for good.

FRUITA, Colo., Oct. 15, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- John Harker, founder of GoFiveGameOver.com, is launching a $30,000 Indiegogo campaign to bring his low-side effect stop-smoking system to market. Called the Quick Quit Kit, a series of pre-filled vape pens gradually weans smokers off nicotine while a proprietary blend of natural ingredients, including CBD, reduces the side effects normally associated with quitting. Harker is launching the Quick Quit Kit in memory of his mother, who died from smoking-related lung cancer.

"People already know they need to quit smoking," Harker says. "I don't need to convince them. They know smoking causes cancer. What they need is help with the oral fixation, a gradual weaning from nicotine, and relief from the anxiety associated with quitting. The Quick Quit Kit does all those things."

Harker created the Quick Quit Kit based on his own experience with trying to quit smoking. "I tried everything from snapping myself on the wrist with a rubber band when I wanted a cigarette to prescription medication that was expensive, made me feel depressed, and didn't even work." After his youngest daughter turned three years old, Harker felt "desperate to quit for her sake." He didn't want her to see him smoking or to be exposed to second-hand smoke. Vape pens--battery operated nicotine vaporizers resembling cigarettes--had just become available, and when Harker discovered he could control the amount of nicotine in the pens, he vaped decreasing amounts of nicotine week after week until he no longer noticed a craving to smoke. After only one month, Harker considered himself a non-smoker, and has been smoke-free ever since. His mission is to ensure everyone who wants to quit smoking can do so easily and quickly, with few to no side effects. "Sooner or later, one way or another, everybody quits smoking, " says Harker, referring to his late mother, who smoked all her adult life. "We want people to break the nicotine habit now and live to see their grandchildren."

The name GoFiveGameOver refers to the five steps in the Quick Kit Quit. "The fifth step is labeled Victory," says Harker. "It means you can tell smoking, 'Game over.'"

Supporters of the Indiegogo campaign will receive thank you stickers, t-shirts, water flasks, and discounts off the purchase price of the Quick Quit Kit. The GoFiveGameOver Facebook page encourages people who have lost family members to smoking-related illnesses to post memorials.

"When the Quick Quit Kit becomes available," says Harker. "It will change the way people quit smoking."
