Global Med Technologies(R) Welcomes Pennsylvania Hospital Group as New Client

DENVER, Dec. 15 Global Med Technologies®, Inc. ("Global Med" or the "Company") (OTC Bulletin Board: GLOB), an international healthcare information technology company, today announced that its Wyndgate Technologies® division has licensed its SafeTrace Tx® transfusion management software to Jameson Health System ("Jameson") of New Castle, Pennsylvania. Jameson will also be using the services of PeopleMed®, Inc. for validation and Hemo-Net® for remote hosting. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Global Med's SafeTrace Tx is a leading transfusion management software solution for transfusion services and hospital blood banks. It will provide Jameson with comprehensive tracking of orders, specimens, blood products, derivatives, and accessories, with a complete testing and transfusion history in one consolidated record. SafeTrace Tx will help guide blood bank technicians in selecting, crossmatching and issuing appropriate blood products for their patients as well as helping to reduce waste and increase efficiency. SafeTrace Tx has patented features which also allow hospitals to effectively share patient data and work more efficiently within a multi-facility system.
