Global Hearing Health Company Moves U.S. Headquarters To Downtown Minneapolis

AMPLIFON AMERICAS BRINGS OVER 180 EMPLOYEES DOWNTOWN

MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 28, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Amplifon S.p.A. With global headquarters in Milan, Italy, Amplifon Americas has annual (2017) revenues of $258,537,000 and a total of 470 employees throughout the U.S. and Canada – over 180 of whom will now work out of its new Minneapolis offices.

Contained within Amplifon Americas' new Minneapolis headquarters are its core business units and shared services teams. In the U.S., the business units include:

  • Miracle-Ear, the nationwide hearing solution franchisor that distributes branded technology to remove the barriers of hearing loss through more than 1,400 franchised locations across the U.S. Miracle-Ear has deep roots in Minnesota through its founder Charles Dahlberg and celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2018. In addition, the new downtown headquarters offices the Miracle-Ear Foundation, a non-profit organization that works to improve the lives of those who need hearing health care but cannot afford it. Founded in 1990, the Miracle-Ear Foundation has donated more than 21,000 hearing aids to over 11,100 adults and children with hearing loss nationwide.
