The CSAM Addiction Medicine Review Course includes a Board Examination Preparation Track for those preparing to take the Addiction Medicine Board Exam administered by the American Board of Preventive Medicine (ABPM). ABPM Board Certification demonstrates a physician's exceptional expertise in the subspecialty of Addiction Medicine, which is now recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS).

The Exam Preparation Track is comprised of daily morning sessions and a Wednesday afternoon session that cover 16 key topics, with sample exam questions and rationale provided for answers, as well as test-taking and study tips. Registrants also gain access to an online question bank of 400 board-style questions.
The exam is offered at Prometric sites between October 14, 2019 and November 3, 2019. Prometric operates a secure network of 8,000 test centers around the world, giving convenient access, as well as a wide selection of times and dates for testing.
