The Ma Evans brand was acquired by Genomma Lab during the fourth quarter2007 due to its high level of brand recognition in the shampoo and anti-hairloss treatment categories. With this launch, Genomma Lab reinforces itspresence in the hair care category, in which it currently participates underthe anti-dandruff shampoo brand Medicasp. The market size of the Mexican haircare category is approximately Ps. 15 billion pesos(1).
