Free Seasonal Flu Shots Available to Unemployed in New York City

NEW YORK, Oct. 13 -- In New York City and more than 20 markets across the country,

The partnership with CVS allows Seedco to increase access to a vital health benefit during this flu season," Francine Delgado, senior vice president of New York City Programs for Seedco, said.

The vouchers will be distributed through Seedco's community-based organizational partners in the New York City area. Vouchers will be distributed at the following locations:

• CAMBA, Inc.
• Chinese-American Planning Council
• Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation
• St. Nicholas Neighborhood Preservation Corporation
• Gay Men's Health Crisis
• Harlem Congregations for Community Improvement
• Northern Manhattan Improvement Corporation
• Catholic Charities Community Service
• Henry Street Settlement
• Citizens Advice Bureau
• Phipps Community Development Corporation
• South Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation

The vouchers can be redeemed with proper identification at scheduled CVS/pharmacy in- store flu clinics, and on-demand, every day at MinuteClinic health centers located in select CVS/pharmacy retail stores.

Participating employment center locations are distributing vouchers on a first come, first served basis in New York City.
