FiteBac® Hand Sanitizer unique cross-polymer formulation effectively sanitizes and moisturizes the skin while provides a long-acting hydrophobic layer to help block water, dirt and other contaminants.

MARIETTA, Ga., April 10, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- FiteBac® SkinCare, LLC announces the relaunch of FiteBac® Hand Sanitizer.

FiteBac Hand Sanitizer is alcohol free and the unique cross-polymer formulation moisturizes the skin while also providing a long-acting hydrophobic layer to help block water, dirt and other contaminants.

Unlike alcohol-based sanitizers, which can dry and cause painful cracking of the skin with routine use, FiteBac® Hand Sanitizer contains no alcohol. The unique cross-polymer formulation, which uses benzalkonium chloride as the antimicrobial agent, is compliant with the current FDA monograph covering such products.

The Center for Disease Control (CDC) stated in the Guidelines for Hand Hygiene in Health-Care Settings, which was published in 2002, "frequent repeated use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers and frequent handwashing is a primary cause of chronic irritant dermatitis." FiteBac® Hand Sanitizer's is the ideal alternative for those wanting an effective hand sanitizer but wanting to avoid the use of alcohol and its deleterious effects on skin health.

The formulation includes two co-cross polymers of silicone to help soften skin by allowing the natural layer of lipids to remain on the skin. FiteBac® Hand Sanitizer helps promote healthy skin by forming a hydrophobic barrier, helping to protect it from dirt, water and other contaminants, even after repeated hand washings.

Healthcare workers, for whom proper hand sanitization is critical, recognize FiteBac® Hand Sanitizer's ability to protect and moisturize their hands while avoiding the complications of skin drying and cracking associated with the repeated use of alcohol based hand sanitizer and is an award-winning hand sanitizer recognized by hand hygiene experts.

"FiteBac is the perfect product for those needing to regularly sanitize their hands but wanting to avoid skin damage skin associated with regular use of alcohol-based hand sanitizer," says John Sharkey PhD, CEO of FiteBac® SkinCare LLC. "A small pea-sized amount is all you need to cover both hands, front and back, making it highly cost effective for routine use."

FiteBac Hand Sanitizer is available in 3-ounce tubes as well as a Hands-Free Dispenser which can be mounted on the wall or as a stand-alone unit on one of the company's dispenser stands. These dispensers were specifically designed to release the appropriate amount of product sufficient to cover both hands, thus eliminating waste and saving money.

"It's the viscous consistency of the product that makes it feel luxurious," say Sharkey. The company's created an "easy" turn key system, so once the dispensers are installed and can be easily refilled in seconds.
