Scheduled to open this December, the new clinics will be conveniently located in their respective communities. In New Castle, the new urgent care clinic will be located near Rural King, across from the Pizza King and next to Hardee's. In Richmond, the location is in close proximity to Starbucks, Richmond Mall, and Wal Mart. Equipped with multiple exam rooms and digital x-ray capabilities, the clinics will provide a broad array of urgent care, walk-in, and occupational medicine services. Open seven days a week from 8am to 8pm, the clinic will offer treatment for a wide variety of common illnesses and injuries, including Flu Shots for $25.

The new clinics will also have online check-in features. Patients will be able to wait in line in the comfort of their own homes, making appointments for same-day or next-day visits to cut down on wait times for busy patients. "Our focus is always on the patient and having the online check-in feature will allow for patients to choose when they want to be seen by a provider," Pantoja states.

"We also believe in supporting the communities we are in," said Pantoja. "For each $25 Sports Physical visit at our clinic, $5 is donated back to the child's school. Schools are the backbone of every community and we want to do what we can to continue to support them."

"A shortage of primary care physicians and the cost of treating non-emergency health issues at emergency rooms has become an economic drain on patients. Walk-in urgent care helps to bridge the gap between primary care physicians and ERs," explained Sabrina Briggs, Director of Clinical Quality for First Care. "By accepting most insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid, and offering an affordable $89 self-pay price for uninsured patients, we hope to make healthcare available to everyone in the New Castle and Richmond areas."

First Care recently achieved the Urgent Care Association of America (UCAOA) Accredited Urgent Care designation, the highest level of distinction for urgent care centers. After thorough evaluation and site surveys conducted by the UCAOA, it was determined that First Care met all requirements and had effectively established standards and criteria for quality of patient care, and safety. First Care is the only urgent care clinic in New Castle with this distinguished accreditation.

First Care Clinics' is an urgent care, walk-in medical chain providing medical services throughout Kentucky and Indiana.
