Equicare Health improves Extract Engine (EE) with EE 1.1

VANCOUVER, May 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ - Equicare Health Inc., the leading supplier of comprehensive care coordination

solutions, releases Extract Engine 1.1 (EE 1.1), an expansion of their recently introduced Extract Engine feature. The release of EE 1.1 gives customers who use EPIC Beacon the opportunity to integrate their data into Equicare products, further advancing

data flow. EE 1.1 also adds support for the new security features included in Varian's ARIA v15 release.

"We're seeing more sites using Beacon to manage their Medical Oncology practice, and EE 1.1 now allows us to offer our Survivorship and Navigation tools to these customers," says Malcolm Wright, VP of Product Management. This release follows the introduction of Extract Engine 1.0 (EE 1.0) earlier this year, which streamlines data flow between Equicare products and oncology information systems (OIS), making access to data less disruptive and more seamless. With EE 1.1, customers can now use Equicare products with ARIA, MOSAIQ and EPIC electronic health record systems (EHR). The new integration makes managing navigation, survivorship and care plan creation quicker and easier.
