INDIANAPOLIS, Nov. 15 Eli Lilly and Company(NYSE: LLY) has been selected to receive the National Urban League's CorporateLeadership Award for its efforts to reach diverse communities with relevanthealthcare information. The corporate leadership award is the highest honorgiven to a corporation by one of the nation's leading civil rights and directservices organization.
Sidney Taurel, chairman and chief executive officer, will accept the awardtoday, presented by the National Urban League (NUL), during the 51st AnnualEqual Opportunity Day Awards Dinner at the New York Marriott Marquis.

Lilly is receiving the Corporate Leadership Award for its valuedpartnership with the NUL on projects addressing health disparities, diseaseawareness and prevention and encouraging dialogue on mental health issues.This year, Lilly and the NUL brought forward the "Remarkable: That's You"campaign. The program encourages African American women and their families toadopt healthy behaviors. Workshops promoted being physically active, eating anutritious diet, and seeking preventative screenings and treatment options.
