Easter Seals Honors Advocates Rep. Dave Camp, Senator Mary Landrieu and Capital One

WASHINGTON, May 20 Wednesday, May 21, 2008, Easter Seals Greater Washington-Baltimore Region will honor U.S. Representative Dave Camp, U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu and Capital One for their efforts on behalf of children and adults with disabilities. The Easter Seals Advocacy Awards Benefit will be held at the JW Marriott Hotel in Washington, D.C, beginning with cocktails at 6:00 pm and dinner at 7:00 pm. Gordon Peterson of WJLA TV will act as Master of Ceremonies for the occasion.

The Easter Seals Advocacy Awards Benefit honors leaders in philanthropy and public policy who have demonstrated an exemplary commitment to advancing opportunities for children and adults with disabilities in the Greater Washington-Baltimore Region. Representative Camp, Senator Landrieu and Capital One will join a distinguished list of those who have received the Advocacy Award in past years. "Each of these honorees has made a significant contribution on behalf of people with disabilities," said Lisa Reeves, Easter Seals President and CEO.
