Clinicians will be able to earn CME credit for searches they initiate toanswer questions that arise during their regular workday. From within any oneof 700 topics, physicians can complete a quick survey about their searchresults and how they would apply this new knowledge to their patient casemanagement. All their CME activities -- whether they are completed on a PDA orthe web -- will be tracked in the online CME center.
Each activity is worth 0.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit (TM). Users ofHarrison's Practice can earn a maximum of 10 credits per calendar year. CMEcredit is made available via a joint sponsorship of the InterstatePostgraduate Medical Association (IPMA) and The McGraw-Hill Companies. IPMA isaccredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education toprovide continuing medical education for physicians.
