Former Athlete and 27-Year Multiple Sclerosis Patient to Assist Others Who Share Same Chronic Condition

MURFREESBORO, Tenn., March 7, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- TwelveStone Health Partners, a premier provider of comprehensive

chronic care medication services, has named Tom Dugosh as a patient advocate, helping others with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) to navigate the many aspects of living with a chronic condition.

"Tom has an upbeat, 'never quit' spirit that's an inspiration to all of us," says Shane Reeves, chief executive officer for TwelveStone. "For those who are living with chronic conditions like MS, we rely on him to provide an extra level of support and guidance."

Dugosh joins Zach Marcella, who is living with hemophilia, as TwelveStone's second patient advocate. In addition to his role as a life coach and patient peer advocate, Dugosh will also work with statewide MS organizations to let them know about the various services that TwelveStone offers to patients with chronic conditions. This includes MEDIpack packaged medication including medication management, refills, handling payer issues and offering financial support as necessary. In addition, TwelveStone offers both home infusion and enteral services as well as a state-of-the-art infusion suite in Murfreesboro.

"I've been living with this disease for 27 years, and I know what it's like to manage the ever-changing medications, their side effects, and all the other factors that go along with living with a MS," says Dugosh. "On any given day, if I can lighten the burden for someone else living with a chronic condition that's a win/win."

Dugosh retired from Emerson Electric where he was a human resources executive, he and his wife Krista own a Fleet Feet Store in Murfreesboro Tennessee.
