Dr. Talreja received her medical degree from Seth Grant Medical College, Bombay University in Parel Bombay, India.She completed her Internship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and her Medical Residency in Internal Medicine from Long Island Jewish-Queens Hospital Center Affiliation, Jamaica, New York. She completed her Oncology Fellowships at: Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons, New York, New York, the University of Southern California, County Medical Center in Los Angeles, California and Stanford University Medical Center, Radiation Oncology in Palo Alto, California.
She fellowed in both Hematology and Oncology at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center and the City of Hope in Duarte, California.
Dr. Talreja has numerous publications and has participated on a broad range of research projects. She remains active with Clinical trials and in the Oncology Community.
Patient Care Philosophy:
Dr. Talreja believes in individualizing her patient care to cater to each of her patients. She believes that communication is highly important and always urges her patients to stay active in their patient care plan.
