The Yale Day of Service was first established in 2009, as a way for alumni to share their time and talents by giving back to communities in need, all around the world. Last year, the Yale Day of Service had more than 3,500 participants, across 40 states and in 20 countries. Featuring former Secretary of State John Kerry, and Children's Defense Fund Founder and President, Marian Wright Edelman, as this year's Honorary Co-Chairman, the 2018 Yale Day of Service is expected to be bigger than ever.

The Melbourne Women's Center opened its doors to the public on March 8, 1975, International Women's Day. Since that time, the Women's Center has provided comprehensive services and learning opportunities to Brevard County women and families in crisis. Bringing a progressive view on the current women's issues, the Women's Center sticks to its vision "To help women and families help themselves to develop safe, healthy and self-sufficient lives (and to) provide the gift of hope and courage, changing lives for the better – forever,".

To give a much-needed hand to the Women's Center, Clevens Face and Body Specialists is currently taking donations of personal hygiene supplies, now through Friday, May 4th. Bring your donations to our Melbourne office, at 707 West Eau Gallie Boulevard, at any time, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. To show our gratitude for your support and thank you for your generous gift, Clevens Face and Body Specialists will present each donor with a gift certificate for $50 off a non-surgical treatment. We greatly appreciate any donations of the following items, preferably in small or travel-size: ·        Toothbrushes & Toothpaste ·         Dental Floss ·         Combs & Hairbrushes ·         Deodorant ·         Shampoo & Conditioner ·         Dental Floss ·         Soap ·         Cotton Swabs ·         Hairspray ·         Baby Powder ·         Razors ·         Tampons & Sanitary Napkins ·         Ethnic Hair Products

A graduate of Yale University, participating in the Yale Day of Service is near and dear to Dr. Clevens' heart. Since founding Melbourne's Clevens Face and Body Specialists, Dr. Clevens has made it a priority to give back to his community through various charitable projects, including The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Domestic Violence Project, assisting women who have become disfigured at the hands of others. He is also the founder of Face of Change, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing medical care and food to needy children in developing nations.
