PLANO, Texas, May 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dr Pepper Snapple Group (NYSE: DPS) today announced its partnership with KaBOOM! – the national non-profit dedicated to saving play.  Support for fit and active lifestyles is at the heart of the company's corporate social responsibility program, and through this partnership, DPS and KaBOOM! will work together to build better communities, one playground at a time.

The DPS partnership with KaBOOM! will result in 10 new playgrounds in cities including Los Angeles, Houston, Detroit, Indianapolis, Columbus, Ohio, Rogers, Ark., Waco, Texas, Victorville, Calif., and Jacksonville, Fla.  In support of the partnership, the company's Mott's brand will sponsor the second annual "KaBOOM! Play Days" from September 18September 26, 2010.  KaBOOM! Play Days presented by Mott's encourages communities to come together for fun activities and to improve local parks and playgrounds.
