Dr. La Porte was awarded the Dean Merit Scholarship from The Pritzker School of Medicine and The University of Chicago. He was a semifinalist in the Intel Science Talent Search and Siemens-Westinghouse Science Competition in 2001. Dr. La Porte has multiple publications and has participated in several research projects. He was a teaching assistant for several medical courses at The University of Chicago.
Patient Care Philosophy Dr. La Porte believes in giving the best individual care to each of his patients. He strives to educate and communicate efficiently with his patients and their loved ones. He enjoys getting to know his patients and personalizing their patient care. Dr. La Porte remains active in research and clinical studies.
