LAS VEGAS, April 11, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Dr. F. Victor Rueckl of Lakes Dermatology
The CO2RE is a fractional CO2 laser designed to treat problem areas of the skin, such as scars, acne scars, rhytids, moderate lines, and wrinkles whilst also promoting the production of collagen and healthy new skin cells for improved skin tone and laxity. It is particularly effective at treating so called "smoker's lines" around the mouth. The CO2RE is a powerful and versatile tool that features six different treatment modes. There are four different fractional ablative treatment modes ranging from surface to deep skin treatment. The CO2RE also features a traditional resurfacing mode as well as a dermal excision mode that can either use predefined shapes or be used freehand.
The CO2RE procedure boasts greater precision, less discomfort, greater versatility, and quicker treatment times than older treatment options. Older CO2 devices left patients with hypo- and hyper-pigmented areas. It also took several months to heal from. CO2RE has such customized depths and treatment options that it does not have these limiting factors. Patients will usually see improvement just after one treatment, although the exact number of treatments needed will vary.
Dr. F. Victor Rueckl of Lakes Dermatology notes, "We're always looking to offer our clients the best and most innovative treatment options available, which is why we're happy to add the CO2RE to our state-of-the-art facility. The CO2RE is safe and offers proven results that exceed previous fractional resurfacing procedures. I really love that the CO2RE has multiple settings, ranging from a light surface treatment that ranges from 20 to 40 ?m to the deep skin treatment that ranges from 500 to 750 ?m. The real kicker of the CO2RE is that it can also treat surface and deep skin issues at the same time. This fusion setting features simultaneous treatments that impact 100 to 200 ?m (surface) and 500 to 750 ?m (deep skin). No other machine on the market can treat small areas like 'smoker's lines' around the mouth and crow's feet as effectively as this machine.
"Another great attribute of the CO2RE is that it treats a wide range of skin issues and is highly effective in doing so. Problems that the CO2RE can address include sun-damaged skin, scars, wrinkles, discoloration, and other skin imperfections. The equipment is also easy to use due to its intuitive graphic interface and the fact that the handpiece is lightweight and thin, allowing for a full range of motion around the patient's face. While one needs to protect the skin after treatment, there is not the long downtime that was standard in older treatments which took months to fully heal from. Another benefit of CO2RE is that the final results can last as long as a surgical procedure, making this treatment a highly desirable choice. Some skin issues will take multiple treatments, but a patient should see a difference after a single treatment, especially for uneven skin textures, dyschromia, and fine line wrinkles. Overall, the CO2RE is more versatile, more efficient, and offers longer-lasting results in comparison to previous fractional resurfacing procedures. I am thrilled to be one of the core physicians in town offering this innovative technology."
