WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., Feb. 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Anne L. White of Carolina Laser and Cosmetic Center (www.CarolinaLaser.com) introduces the all new FDA-approved RestylaneŽ Refyne and RestylaneŽ Defyne dermal fillers to her practice.

Using a new technology, the FDA-approved fillers, Refyne and Defyne produce a more natural outcome by flexing and moving along with the natural fluctuations of the muscles. As part of the RestylaneŽ family of products from Galderma, the same successful hyaluronic acid base formula is used as RestylaneŽ Silk but used primarily for the correction of facial wrinkles and folds. While Refyne treats moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, Defyne is best at correcting the deeper, moderate to severe wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds or "parentheses" around the mouth. Both products use a relatively low molecular weight and are very gentle so patients don't look and feel as if product has been injected under the skin surface.

For Refyne and Defyne, the lifespan of the product is about a year. Lidocaine is mixed into the product so no numbing is required beforehand. Patients can expect a little numbness post procedure for about 1-2 hours due to the anesthetic component. The end result will be one without stubborn wrinkles and folds that age a person, and everyone will wonder what was done to produce a refreshing look.

As with any cosmetic treatment or procedure, a consultation with an expert, such as Dr. White, is recommended to determine if this product is the right fit. Cosmetic enhancements require a professional grade product, like Refyne and Defyne, and should always be administered by a trained professional. Since 2003, Dr. White has performed over 25,000 filler injections.

"At Carolina Laser and Cosmetic Center we are passionately committed to providing the safest and latest non-surgical, non-invasive, no downtime cosmetic, laser and dermatology treatments to help patients look as young outside as they feel inside," Dr. White says.
