The "Simplifying Complex and Restorative Dentistry" seminar's goal is to provide instruction on clear, concise, and easy techniques dentists can use to address every aspect of complex cosmetic and restorative dental cases. The techniques discussed can be performed without costly proprietary equipment. Dr. Gaertner will learn how to use these simple yet effective protocols to treat even the most complex cases at his practice. The protocols are designed to make the restoration of a full arch no more complicated than a single unit.

The major topics that will be covered during the seminar include indirect temporaries, how red gums affect patients, painless injection techniques, closed flap biologic reshaping, digital mounting, perio/restorative roles, Die models, lab costs, and violation biologic width. Diagnosis and digital technology, eliminating pathological features, and tissue retraction will be discussed as well.

Drs. William Strupp, Jr. and Michael Brumm will be the two educators presenting at the seminar. Dr. Strupp was the inaugural speaker at the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) founding meeting in 1984. In addition, he is an accredited fellow in the AACD--a distinctive honor that only 68 people in the world hold. Dr. Strupp was selected as a leader in Continuing Education in Dentistry by Dentistry Today, the leading clinical magazine for dentists. He earned a D.D.S from Emory University School of Dentistry.

Dr. Brumm is an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and is one of the only dentists in the country to obtain the Certified Dental Technician (CDT) certification. The CDT certification shows a significant mastery of dental technology knowledge and applied skills. Dr. Brumm lectures on a variety of cosmetic and restorative dental procedures across the country and world. He holds a D.D.S. from the University of Louisville.

After the morning and afternoon sessions, Drs. Strupp and Brumm will be available to diagnose and advise on treatment plan cases brought by Dr. Gaertner and other seminar participants. Dr. Gaertner will bring radiographs, models, and photographs of the cases he would like to have evaluated.

Dr. Gaertner is looking forward to attending "Simplifying Complex and Restorative Dentistry" and promises to share his learnings with the staff and patients at Bliss Dental to improve the patient experience and provide cutting-edge treatment options .
