"We have been following the amazing educator-focused, web-based resources that TRL has created for some time now. Since the issuance of the CA dyslexia guidelines, DDCA has been working diligently with public school districts interested in establishing best practices in literacy. TRL is producing relevant, accessible content for educators created by some of the top literacy experts in the country," states Tobie Meyer, DDCA State Director. "We feel it is imperative that DDCA help connect the California community with the extensive knowledge base created by TRL to bridge the gap that exists today between knowledge and practice."

"The Reading League is an organization comprised of a diverse group of professionals, all having a desire to improve reading outcomes for children and adults," states Maria Murray, CEO and Founder of TRL. "We know what works to teach reading as a result of decades of research from a number of fields. Decoding Dyslexia chapters are a perfect example of the kind of professionals and advocates comprising the TRL network. We are very happy indeed to have a relationship with DDCA!"
