PEKIN, Ill., Aug. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp™)
Whether a presenter or an active attendee, the 2019 iaedp™ Symposium is the single best professional development and networking opportunity in the eating disorders treatment field, according to Bonnie Harken, Managing Director of the iaedp™ Foundation.
The 2019 iaedp™ Symposium in Palm Desert, California will be held at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort during February 7 – 10, 2019. Following tradition, all attendees are encouraged to bring new ideas, new approaches to learning and energy to engage in the exceptional eating disorders treatment conference experience.
"The education for eating disorders treatment is going through an enormous transformation," said Harken. "Learning is no longer confined to four walls within traditional brick and mortar institutions. We must define what it means to be engaged and demonstrate learning at every turn."
The 2019 iaedp™ Symposium will feature more than 100 presentations, workshops and networking events and an internationally renowned art competition. Early registration opened this year on August 10th for the 2019 event, with discounted rates for registration and hotel rooms as well as a selection of hotel room amenities, all on a first come, first served basis.
