Her proficiency qualifies her to help organizations develop or assess and update their compliance programs and establish remote compliance officer services or advisory support for smaller facilities that lack the internal resources to support this significant area. Cordini's legal knowledge assists organizations that are developing novel structures, such as clinically integrated networks, understand the statutory and regulatory environment that surrounds them. She can render invaluable guidance and advisory services (though not legal counsel) to ensure innovative and compliant integration of clinical providers.

Before joining Coker, Cordini was Vice President of Legal Services/Chief Compliance Officer with Owensboro Health (Owensboro, Ky.) where she supported the chief legal officer in managing the daily functions of the legal services division (legal services, privacy and security, compliance and internal audit, and risk management), and functioned as the chief compliance officer for the health system.

"We are delighted to welcome someone of Roz's character and experience to the Coker team," noted Coker Group's president/CEO, Max Reiboldt. "Roz's clinical and legal expertise will greatly expand and enhance our compliance services for the benefit of our clients."

"It is a privilege to join Coker Group as its Director of Compliance Services," stated Cordini. "Achieving regulatory compliance is challenging, and it is gratifying to have the opportunity to guide and assist Coker's clients—healthcare organizations and physician practice groups—in navigating the ever-changing compliance landscape. My intent is to present pointed advice to assist them in meeting and understanding the evolving regulations and standards. My goal is to help in ensuring their compliance programs are effective and that the organizations are poised for success."
