FORT DODGE, Iowa, Aug. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Some things are worth the wait. At least it appears that way for
Ten years after buying a commercial lot to build a new dental office in the city of Fort Dodge, he finally broke ground. Completed in February 2016, the 5,000 square-foot office is bright, uplifting, and filled with state-of-the-art technology and design, just like he always imagined. In just two years, thanks to the striking design, upgraded equipment, and an aggressive marketing plan, the practice has doubled its staff; added two associates, Dr. Shaun O'Neill and Dr. Tyler Wallingford; gone from 1,300 active patients to 3,200; grown from 25 new patients each month to 90; and more than doubled production.
Being featured in the Henry Schein Sidekick publication is no easy feat either. To be selected is a very competitive process that requires showing your dental clinic is one of the best and is considered the "cream of the crop" across the nation.
With an office that was too small and landlocked, Dr. Clay looked for a location that would be a perfect fit for his vision of the new clinic and purchased a site 10 years ago. An upswing in the economy of the region just reinforced his decision that the time was right to move forward with his dream.
Reaching out to Brett Drea, Henry Schein Field Sales Consultant, additional team members were brought into the project. This team also included Jason Helkenn, Henry Schein Equipment Sales Specialist. After putting the right team together, the project was off and running.
"Don't be afraid to take on the risk," Dr. John Clay affirms. "The key is surrounding yourself with a solid team that wants to work toward the same goal."
