Chapter House Sober Living for men will utilize Recover DFW a whole body restorative lounge in a new partnership.

RICHARDSON, Texas, March 03, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Chapter House Sober Living is thrilled to announce our partnership

with Recover DFW, a restorative lounge, that will introduce new innovative treatment modalities that are scientifically proven to improve depression, anxiety, symptoms of trauma and chronic pain. As we better understand the physiological responses the body and mind have as a result of trauma and addiction, it is clear we must expand our treatment tool kit. "To be able to offer real logistical and creative help for our clients who are plagued with anxiety, depression and chronic pain is so exciting. Our partnership with Recover DFW is going to revolutionize the resources at our disposal well beyond therapy and psychiatric intervention," states Heidi Smith, Clinical Director at Chapter House. Each client at Chapter House will have an unlimited membership at Recover DFW and the services will be woven into their treatment plans throughout their stay.

There are 2 main modalities that Chapter House Sober Living will utilize as part of its partnership with Recover DFW.

NuCalm holds the only patent in the world for balancing and maintaining the health of the human autonomic nervous system without drugs. While NuCalm was originally invented to treat PTSD and addictive disease, almost everyone can benefit from NuCalm. One of the things that sets NuCalm apart from other relaxation techniques is that it's a science-based approach. NuCalm is designed using neuroscience principles to help disable the body's anxiety response.

The second modality is an Infrared Sauna with Acoustic Resonance Therapy: infrared sauna is a type of sauna that uses light to create heat. Infrared saunas have numerous beneficial effects on the brain. Studies have repeatedly proven that even a single session of hyperthermia produces a rapid and powerful antidepressant effect and the benefits continue for at least six weeks. Additionally, it is well documented that regular sauna use lowers levels of cortisone, our body's main stress hormone. Infrared saunas increase beta-endorphins to help relieve pain, increase norepinephrine levels, and increase deep sleep.

Acoustic Resonance Therapy (A.R.T.) creates an environment for the body to experience the benefits of sound and vibrational healing in an integrative way. Feeling the music we hear brings our body into harmony physically, mentally and emotionally through stimulating our feeling sense.

Recover DFW also offers various other tools such as localized cryotherapy, heat and cold and compression therapies as well as zero gravity and hyrdromassage. Individuals that are part of the Chapter House program will also be able to utilize those recovery tools as well.
