Yesterday, the Ohio-based Cleveland Clinic was rated #1 in heart care by U.S. News & World Report for the 16th consecutive year.

CDH President and CEO Luke McGuinness said, "This affiliation brings world-class heart surgery resources, research and practices to the patients of CDH. It is quite an honor that a top provider like Cleveland Clinic recognizes our drive for quality and top-tier performance and is interested in affiliating with us."

"This affiliation with Central DuPage Hospital will help address the complex need to treat patients with emerging new surgical techniques and technologies," said Bruce Lytle, M.D., chairman of Cleveland Clinic's Heart & Vascular Institute. "High-level collaboration between CDH, Cleveland Clinic's Heart Surgery Program and our cardiothoracic colleagues nationally is going to be a key driver in delivering patients the highest quality of care."
