Carpe's commercial success, along with a $2.3 million seed round that was closed last year, have helped the brand to launch three new products: an extra strength underarm antiperspirant, antiperspirant body wipes, and a friction reducing groin powder. Additional products are scheduled for release later this year.
"When we launched in 2015, we only had two products: an antiperspirant lotion for hands, and another for feet. We've grown a lot since then, and now offer more than just lotion, so it seemed appropriate to update our domain name accordingly." said David Spratte, CEO and co-founder of Carpe. Spratte and his co-founder, Kasper Kubica, founded Carpe when they were roommates in college. Both suffered from problematic sweating, and wanted to create products for people like themselves.
