The Orlando Medical Marijuana Symposium is targeted specifically to licensed Florida physicians and healthcare providers across the state who may be curious and apprehensive to learn more about using cannabis medicine in their practice. The symposium will have several presentations and lectures designed to educate physicians on subjects such as dosing and delivery guidelines, the endocannabinoid system, treatment of movement disorders, PTSD, barriers to research, redefining the patient-doctor relationship and much more.

The symposium will also feature two interactive roundtable discussions - "Practicing Cannabis As Medicine In Florida" with recommending Florida physicians Dr. Joseph Rosado, Dr. David Berger and regulated substances attorney Vijay Choski, Esq. Moriah Barnhart, CEO of CannaMoms, and Seth Hyman, both patient advocates and parents of children who are receiving medical marijuana in Florida along with Amanda Gammisch, a patient fighting Grade 3 Astrocytoma brain cancer.

Florida based physician Dr. Rosado commented, "In light of all of the changes and uncertainty that have occurred since Amendment 2 passed in November of 2016 by the citizens of this state, it behooves any medical professional interested in medical cannabis to educate themselves and attend this symposium."

"By hosting educational events with specific learning objectives, we are serving Florida's medical community and ultimately the patients," said Gregg H. Weiss, founder of Canna Holdings and event organizer. "It's up to physicians to take action and learn how this plant can help so many patients with debilitating conditions."

The symposium is scheduled for Saturday, June 3rd, 2017 at Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek in Orlando, just minutes from Disney attractions. Registration will begin at 7am and the event ends at 4pm. Tickets must be reserved prior to the event at CannaHoldings.com.

Attendees who purchase the Platinum CME Ticket will have access to TheAnswerPage.com Comprehensive On-line Endocannabinoid and Medical Cannabis Curriculum for 12 months and the ability to earn up to 6 CME, ANCC or ACPE credits. This brand-new comprehensive curriculum integrates the latest findings of the National Academy of Sciences' 2017 report and also includes disease specific sections on the therapeutic use of medical cannabis. In addition, you will receive content updates and new material during the 12-month period.
