The new expansion houses a new entrance to the Club and Spa, three GroupExercise Rooms; two for general group exercise classes, and a Mind/Body Studiospecifically for yoga classes. There is a new Pilates Studio, to be utilizedfor Pilates instruction on reformers. There is also a retail area with thelatest fitness clothing and high-end fashions. The new expansion alsoencompasses a new Spa, which is approximately 4,000 square feet. The Spafeatures three manicure and three pedicure stations, located in a sereneseparate space. There are two hair stations for hair cutting, styling,shampooing and coloring. In addition, the Spa has four separate treatmentrooms, to be utilized for the latest in massages, facials, and body wraps.To make sure Spa-goers are completely relaxed there are two separaterelaxation rooms, one for quiet relaxation, and another for socializing. TheSpa is available for anyone in the Valley to refresh, relax and renewthemselves, membership to the Club is not required. An added benefit ofutilizing the Village Spa is anyone who receives a one-hour treatment can usethe entire Club the day of treatment, from group exercise classes, cardioequipment, weight training, tennis, squash, racquetball, as well as childcare.

"As the Arcadia area undergoes renovations and updating, we felt anecessity to do the same thing with the Club," says John Smallfield, GeneralManager of Camelback Village Racquet & Health Club. "We have members that havebeen with the Club since it opened, and we wanted to give them a Club they cancontinue to be proud of."
To blend the old with the new, the existing Club will also be receiving afacelift -- including new carpet, paint, a reorganization of the cardio areaand new fitness equipment.
