SAN FRANCISCO, September 11, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Digital Orthopaedics Conference San Francisco (DOCSF) has announced a call for digital health startups using sensors and/ or robotics who want to showcase their success before decision makers and healthcare leaders. Startup technology companies that have a product or platform that has proven potential to impact healthcare are encouraged to apply for the DOCSF19 Innovation Awards Competition.
The competition will be held at the 2019 Digital Orthopaedics Conference in San Francisco, California on January 6th, 2019. The conference will highlight the use of Sensor and Robotic technologies and how they can be applied in health care, specifically within the vertical of orthopedics, defined as everything from wellness and exercise to joint replacement and trauma.
Eight (8) finalist companies will be selected from the participants and be asked to present a case study to a panel of experts as well as an audience of over 200 curated health care leaders. The top company will win media coverage that includes being a guest on the podcast "Digital Health Today."
"All the start-ups love DOCSF," said Stefano Bini, MD, Chair and Founder of DOCSF. "Essentially they get feedback on their products and services from an incredible panel of industry experts and have dozens of one on one discussions with potential clients in this rather small and highly curated event. Attendees love it because its hyper-practical and the case study format allows the audience to go deep into the nuts and bolts of implementation. And the caliber of our attendees is incredible."
DOCSF aims to bridge technology and orthopaedics by highlighting the success of innovative technology companies who can document successful applications of technology in health care. To this end, DOCSF is currently seeking digital health startups using sensors and robotics who want to showcase their success before decision makers and healthcare leaders who are looking for new applications to drive into adoption.
