Endovascular brain aneurysm treatment is minimally invasive and provides a faster recovery time for patients. During coil embolization, the most common endovascular aneurysm treatment technique, soft platinum coils are deposited into the aneurysm sac via a microcatheter to block blood flow into the aneurysm.
"At Abbott, we have always been at the forefront of endovascular brain aneurysm treatment, which has allowed our patients to have continued access to the latest cutting-edge endovascular technology," says Dr. Delgado.
Drs. Delgado and Kayan are certified by the American Board of Radiology and received their fellowship training in Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology from the world-renowned Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Adam Wallace, who is currently completing his fellowship at Mallinckrodt, will be joining the practice this summer.
