From its early days, CH-IV has expanded its skill set and geographic reach to now provide engineering and consulting services to global LNG clients from its two locations in the U.S and the worldwide offices of its parent company: Clough.
Clough's recent acquisition of the Gulf Coast EPC assets of Saulsbury Industries further supports CH-IV's growth. From its Houston offices, Clough now provides North American clients a comprehensive range of project delivery solutions from fully integrated EPC to design and construct, and construct/commissioning-only. After its completion in 2019, the three-train facility of Freeport LNG will produce and export some 15 mtpa of LNG, with production units starting sequentially between Q4 2018 (Train 1) and Q3 2019 (Train 3). The fourth liquefaction unit will allow for the export of an additional five million tons of LNG per year, increasing the total export capability of the project to over 20 mtpa of LNG.
