Browndove Healthcare inaugurates India’s First Exclusive Dialysis Devices Facility at Bangalore

Browndove Healthcare (P) Ltd, a renal healthcare company, headquartered at Bengaluru today inaugurated their state-of-the-art factory at 318/A, KIADB Industrial Area Phase 2, Harohalli, Bangalore. It’s the first factory in India dedicated to the manufacture of renal care consumables.

“Browndove strongly believes in reducing the pricing pressure on medical consumables without compromising on quality. The company’s investment in a world-class facility strengthens our long-term commitment to the renal care community in India and overseas. The facility will manufacture bloodline set, AV fistula needle, transducer protector and catheter to the highest quality standards. The 25,000 square feet facility comprises of Class 10,000 clean rooms and is planned to house 350 employees in one shift. The factory is fully self sufficient in terms of machinery, sterilisation, testing lab and storage facilities,” said A G Krishnaswamy, Managing Director, Browndove Healthcare. “The facility has implemented many green initiatives – recycling of waste water, complete LED lighting, solar power to name a few. We are confident that we’ll achieve high productivity and truly adhere to the ‘Make in India’ philosophy of our nation,” he added.

Outlining future expansion plans, Krishnaswamy said, “In our second phase of expansion, we are planning to implement a dedicated plant for the manufacture of the dialyser. This is the artificial kidney and the most critical device in dialysis. Keeping in line with our philosophy of lower costs, this will bring a great degree of cost benefit to the patients and help the country to reduce the current over dependence on imports.” He further expanded, “With all certifications in place, Browndove will seek export markets in the global renal care market.”
