Dr. Mattingly graduated with a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO. She earned her medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine before continuing on to complete her internship and dermatology residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, in Springfield, IL.
Dr. Mattingly has always found the visual nature and intellectual challenges of dermatology appealing. She is particularly interested in the detection and treatment of skin cancer, psoriasis, acne, and autoimmune diseases. Additionally, she understands the significant psychosocial impact that dermatological diseases can have on patients, and seeks every opportunity to help improve her patient's skin condition and quality of life.
What Dr. Mattingly enjoys most about dermatology is the ability to interact and build relationships with her patients.
