LAS VEGAS, Jan. 10, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Launched by Blue Apple Electric, the Blue Apple Cares Program will provide financial contributions, in-kind donations and volunteerism to Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada. For each service call, Blue Apple Electric will donate $1 – up to $5,000 a month – and give customers the opportunity to match the $1 donation.
Chartered in 1978, the vision of Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada is "to alleviate the isolation many families feel at the time their child is diagnosed" by providing "emotional support, quality of life programs, and financial assistance for children and their families affected by childhood cancer." Candlelighters serves approximately 125 families every month and up to 600 children (both siblings and diagnosed children) every year.
