Bacon Bash hosts two scholarship opportunities for children with Type 1 Diabetes. The first supplies scholarships to send children with Type 1 to diabetes camps focused on instilling healthy habits in campers while connecting them with other children with diabetes. The second scholarship provides funding for Dexcom CGM Systems which allow remote monitoring of a Type 1 patient's glucose levels and automatically alerts a parent when levels become dangerous.

The Bacon Bash Texas cook-off is a hosted each October.  Six hundred pounds of bacon were served at this year's event while raising $40,000 for supported charities. Ball of the Bash is a five course wine dinner with each course featuring a different bacon dish. This year, 120 attendees enjoyed the evening and raised $17,500 for supported charities.

Bacon Bash Texas also supports Niki Warms the Cold, an organization that distributes coats and blankets each winter to homeless people across the state of Texas. Bacon Bash hosts a coat and blanket drive at their October event in addition to donating a portion of event proceeds to help purchase additional winter gear for the homeless.
