Alzheimer's Greater Los Angeles walk4ALZ Returns To The San Fernando Valley On June 24th

100% Of All Funds Raised Stay in the Greater Los Angeles Area

LOS ANGELES, June 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The 6th annual Alzheimer's Greater Los Angeles walk4ALZ in the San Fernando Valley is slated for Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Woodley Park (6350 Woodley Avenue, Van Nuys, CA).  Families, friends, caregivers and people living with the disease will walk side by side with teams from the community, businesses and assisted living facilities to raise awareness, as well as much-needed funds to help improve the lives of people with dementia and to support valuable research.  Emmy Award winning news reporter Elex Michaelson of ABC7 Eyewitness News will emcee.

walk4ALZ will include a two-mile route, food, awards and a family festival.  Walkers who raise $50 receive a commemorative T-shirt, and there will be prizes for top fundraising teams and individuals. 100% of all money raised stays in the Greater Los Angeles area, with 20% of proceeds earmarked for local research.
