Backers invest more than $27,000 in the multi-utility clay bottle that carries both hot and cold beverages, features an exterior of stainless steel and helps maintain the pH balance of water naturally in the range of 7.4 to 7.7 - providing many health benefits

JERSEY CITY, N.J., July 23, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Crowdfunding for PoogDy, the world's first shock-resistant clay

bottle that provides natural alkaline water, continues on Indiegogo InDemand after its success on Kickstarter.

Backers invested more than $27,000 in PoogDy, which provides users with natural alkaline water that naturally maintains a water pH balance in the range of 7.4 to 7.7. The bottle also acts as an anti-viral and anti-bacterial agent and heavy metal detoxifier.

"We're excited so many crowdfunders supported our effort to bring this unique, earthen clay bottle to the market," said PoogDy Co-founder Suchit Shah. "These backers will be the first to enjoy the satisfaction knowing that they are maintaining a natural and healthy pH balance in the water they drink every day."

By drinking water with a balanced pH, people can optimize their digestive system, improve their blood circulation while managing a healthy weight and rejuvenating their skin.

"Many bottled waters marketed as being alkaline typically claim to have a pH between 8 and 10," said PoogDy Co-founder Kinjal Davda Shah. "However, most of which are made with an ionizing process using water-ionizing machines, which can still throw off your body's delicate pH balance and lead to serious health problems."

Made from biodegradable materials that are 100-percent plastic free, the multi-utility clay bottle features a stainless-steel exterior, stays moisture-free on the outside whether it's used to carry a hot or cold beverage, and can be easily carried in the car, on a hike or in the gym.

While the environment also benefits because PoogDy is plastic-free, Shah is most excited about the impact it will have on a user's health over time.

"Studies have shown that the plastic bottle leaks a chemical called Bisphenol A into the water, which is very harmful to the human body," Shah said.

Other PoogDy features include:

  • A shock-resistant design, using a one-of-a-kind, triple-walled bottle featuring a clay structure is surrounded with shock absorbent material and covered with steel.
  • An interior clay structure made of terracotta & healing clays like Bentonite in appropriate quantities
  • A moisture-free exterior designed to the natural process of evaporation, with more than 200 micro holes that provide enough amount of natural breathing and in no way compromise the sturdiness of the bottle.
  • A magnetic lid with pour spout
  • A wide-mouth cap designed for easy filling and for easy cleaning
  • The ability to carry water along with other hot and cold beverages like coffee, tea and milk
