Advertising Hall of Famer Charles D. Peebler Receives Honor for Work Supporting Cure for Progressive Supernuclear Palsy

HAILEY, Idaho, June 23 Charles D. (Chuck) Peebler wasrecognized and honored at his home in Hailey, Idaho on June 17, 2008, for hissupport to find a cure for the devastating neurological brain diseaseProgressive Supernuclear Palsy (PSP), which is often misdiagnosed asAlzheimer's or Parkinson's disease. Chuck has had PSP for several years and,despite his illness, he and his wife Toni have worked tirelessly to raisemoney for research and to support education through their foundation, thePeebler PSP Research Foundation (www.peeblerpspresearch.org) and CurePSP --the Society for Progressive Supernuclear Palsy (www.curepsp.org).

Since 2005, the Peebler family has raised over $2 million dollars. Thesefunds have supported PSP research and, in particular, the potentialbreakthrough program which will conduct a full genome-wide analysis of PSP.These results are being shared with scientists around the world and will opendoors to the cause and prevention of PSP.

Because of Chuck's work during the past years as a board member ofCurePSP, he will be named a "Transformational Benefactor" by the Board ofDirectors of the organization. A ceremony to mark this occasion was held atthe Peebler residence on June 17th.
