AcuoShare is a simple and efficient solution that enables PACS Administrators at affiliated healthcare institutions to securely share medical imaging studies with authorized users. Whether for patient transfers, professional referrals, or study over-reads, images can be securely staged in a virtual drop box and made available to authorized PACS Administrators for retrieving and viewing.
AcuoShare leverages current VPN technology between institutions for secure access between sites. Included are the professional services required to install and configure the Acuo software, configure basic Tag Mapping functions, and provide system administrator training.
"We are excited to be able to offer this innovative capability to the marketplace. We have heard from many customers that there is a need to improve the current study distribution in the industry," said Jeff Timbrook, CEO of Acuo Technologies. "We feel that AcuoShare enables Healthcare facilities to resolve their study sharing challenges and do so in the most cost effective manner. This is just another indication of how Acuo can provide standards based solutions to creatively solve image management needs in the healthcare provider marketplace."
