AICR, LIVESTRONG at the YMCA and PROSHREDŽ Security - First Ever Joint "Shred Cancer" Event

The American Institute for Cancer Research ("AICR"), LIVESTRONG at the YMCA and PROSHREDŽ Springfield will host their first ever joint "Shred Cancer" event on Saturday, September 22, 2018. In collaboration, all community members are invited to bring their personal documents to be securely shred and their used clothing to be donated while raising funds for cancer research.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass., Sept. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The American Institute for Cancer Research ("AICR"), LIVESTRONG

at the YMCA and PROSHREDŽ Springfield will host their first ever joint "Shred Cancer" event on Saturday, September 22, 2018. In collaboration, all community members are invited to bring their personal documents to be securely shred and their used clothing to be donated while raising funds for cancer research.

Individuals may bring up to five boxes of paper documents to be shred by PROSHREDŽ's on-site shredding trucks. Individuals may also bring used clothing to be donated. The event is free to attend and a suggested donation of $5 per box will go directly towards funding AICR's cancer research and education programs.

First held in 2014 on National Cancer Survivors Day, past events have contributed over $130,000 to cancer research.
