ACS Facilitates Emergency Prescription Assistance Program Now Activated in Southern Louisiana

DALLAS, Sept. 11 Affiliated Computer Services,Inc. (NYSE: ACS) today announced that it is facilitating the EmergencyPrescription Assistance Program (EPAP), now activated for residents insouthern Louisiana in the wake of Hurricane Gustav.

The EPAP program, established by the Centers for Medicare & MedicaidServices (CMS), processes claims for prescription medication and qualifyingmedical equipment to individuals without health insurance living in, orevacuated from, declared federal disaster areas. Prescriptions and medicalequipment are available through a robust nationwide network of participatingpharmacies.

To receive assistance, eligible Louisianans must provide one of thefollowing: a new prescription from a licensed health care practitioner, acurrent prescription bottle, a prescription phoned in by a licensed healthcare practitioner or proof of an existing prescription. Claims made betweenSeptember 2, 2008 and October 2, 2008 are eligible under the EPAP program.

Because the EPAP program uses existing channels of how people receivetheir prescriptions, it is seamless to users and can be instantaneouslyactivated.
