AARP Pennsylvania to Host Medicare Forum

Local and National Experts Will Discuss How to Stop Excessive Hikes in Medicare Part B Premiums and Reduced Access to Doctors

Philadelphia, Pa., Nov. 26 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ --- A panel of experts from AARP and the Pennsylvania Medical Society will host a discussion on how to strengthen Medicare on Thursday, November 29th at 10:00 a.m.

Unless Congress acts before year's end, doctors who treat Medicare patients will face a drastic payment cut and Medicare enrollees could see their monthly premiums increase even more.

Panelists will address ways lawmakers can protect access to Medicare physicians without placing the burden on people in Medicare. Audience members will be invited to ask questions of the panel.
